KEDARNATH YATRA 2022 RESUMES AFTER 2 YEAR
KedarNath, one of the twelve Jotirling opened on Friday, May 6th 2022 and Badrinath doors will open on 8 May 2022. Uttarakhand's government has fixed the limit of devotees visiting Char Dham Yatra.
1500 thousand pilgrims will be allowed at badrinath and, 12000 will be allowed at kedarnath. This schedule was issued for 45 days. For Gangotri 7000 pilgrims are allowed and for Yamnotri 4000 pilgrims are allowed.
Char Dham Yatra was announced to begin on Akshay Tritya with opening of Yamnotri Dham on May 03.
Chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged of Char Dham Yatra and free medical services for devotees visiting Char Dham which is provided by a private health organization.
After the pandemic this year, pilgrims are not supposed to carry negative COVID-19 test report along them for annual Char Dham Yatra.
