Dabolin international airport  is located in Goa and the only international airport in Goa operated by airport authority of India. Dabolin airport is located in Dabolim city, near Vasco-Da-Gama and near about 30 km from state capital Panjim.

History of Dabolim Airport

The airport was build in 1955 by the Portugese Government with name Aeroport da Dabolim. in 1962 the airport comes under control of Indian navy. In 1966 Government of India decided to expand the airstrip for private jets and also Invited Public Airline companies to Operate civil aviation.
